Please remember CAPS in your will
Since 1957, The Captive Animals' Protection Society (CAPS) has
worked to end the suffering of captive animals. This work continues
with an increasingly high profile.
We expose animal abuse and lobby local and national government.
The past twelve months has seen us active against the use of animals
in circuses, zoos, canned hunting in South Africa, and reptile fairs.
We are a small organisation taking on huge industries on behalf
of a great many animals, and legacies from supporters are essential
to our survival. Remembering CAPS in your Will is one of the most
important things you can do for captive animals.
If you intend to benefit CAPS it is important that you state its
full name and address - failure to do so can lead to litigation
or even the loss of the legacy. Therefore, please use the following
words:
"I bequeath to the Captive Animals' Protection Society,
PO Box 4186, Manchester, M60 3ZA, the sum of £............,
and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other authorised
Officer of the Fund shall be good and sufficient discharge of
such legacy."
Remember us, and we'll ensure captive animals aren't forgotten.
