Day of Action Against Zoos 2000

Holiday 28th August 2000 is the UK Day of Action Against Zoos. We
are asking everyone with a zoo in their area to arrange a protest/leafleting
session at the zoo on August 28th.
Last year, protests were held outside 13 zoos and safari parks.
Demonstrators dressed up in animal costumes and handed out leaflets
to zoo visitors (see previous report).
CAPS is supplying free leaflets for zoo protests so please contact
us as soon as possible if you intend to take part in the zoo day
of action.
Animals in zoos need your help. Please get involved. Remember that
zoos will close once people stop paying to see animals incarcerated
