Have you visited an animal circus?
Have you seen animal welfare conditions that concerned you?
Then let us know!
April 2008

Its not just wild animals who suffer in circuses

Many people do not realise that a few circuses still use animals, and even then people may visit the circus thinking that the animals are probably well cared for.

But members of the public regularly contact animal welfare groups to complain at the way animals are treated in circuses.

If you have seen things in an animal circus that concern you, please let us know. Either print off this web page or download either of the forms below. Then just fill in the details and send it to the CAPS via the post, e-mail or you can phone us with the details.

If you see an incident that you feel needs immediate attention please phone the RSPCA’s emergency helpline on 0300 1234 999

In addition to making your concerns known to us, you can also contact an Animal Welfare Officer at the local County Council, and write to newspapers encouraging people to avoid circuses with animals.

Please send complaint slip to:

The Captive Animals’ Protection Society (CAPS)
PO Box 4186,
Manchester,
M60 3ZA

Please fill this form in and send it to CAPS at the address above.
